Nicole Ottawa and Oliver Meckes are the team behind Eye of Science. The team have been involved in science photography since 1994 and specialize in scanning electron photography, a kind of macrophotography that allows viewers to see otherwise-invisible microorganisms in stark detail. Together, they have received several awards for their work, including the World Press Photo Award and the Lennart Nilsson Award.
