Amber Ankowski

Amber Ankowski, PhD, teaches psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles, with a focus on children’s language and cognitive development and methods for conducting psychological research. Her work has been published in academic journals including Child Development ResearchInfant and Child Development, and Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition.

Together with her husband Andy, Amber blogs at doctoranddad.com, is coauthor of Think Like a Baby: 33 Simple Research Experiments You Can Do at Home to Better Understand Your Child’s Developing Mind and Goodnight Zoom, and is the parent of three fantastically ferocious bookmonsters.
