We have absolutely been loving the coloring book trend over here at The Experiment—most of us have a half-finished Mindfulness Coloring Book as a permanent addition to our night stands or next to our phones. Though no prior math knowledge is required to enjoy this one-of-a-kind book, the math reveals itself as you color: from the 4D hypercube that casts a starlike shadow to the infinite pattern of the Penrose tiles that never perfectly repeat. Plus, the “creating” section of the book allows users to follow simple steps to design their own images, again revealing the hidden math patterns behind many familiar designs.
